The building contains 34 two person apartments, each consisting of two bed-sitting rooms, sharing a kitchen and a bathroom. This set of accommodation provides flexible use for either young couples or single people. In addition, the building contains a caretaker's flat, a laundry and common rooms, which link onto a large communal landscaped garden at the rear.

The street in which the building is located was originally lined with substantial villas set back from the road, which have been progressively replaced by medium rise apartment blocks. The building is set back from the street aligning with the adjacent blocks to create a planted and paved parking and entrance courtyard.

He materials used are loadbearing calculated brickwork with insitu reinforced concrete floor slabs and clad with warm red brick facings, and soldier and string courses in matching special bricks.

The window spandrels are fully glazed with high performance timber opening lights above glass block panels.
